FAQ

Q1:‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Is it normal that a baguette baking pan will deform after long use?

A: Commercial baking pans are usually produced from 1.0mm thick materials and it is quite difficult to deform them by normal usage. If there is a minor warping, it can be fixed by heating and subsequent flattening while cooling. A most severe deformation is generally caused by dry heating, overheating, and collision and must be addressed according to the regulations.

Q2: Is it okay to wash baguette baking pans in the dishwasher?

A: It is not advisable. A dishwasher's high temperature, high pressure, and strong water flow can easily damage the coating causing it to peel off or deform. The best way to clean the baking pan and keep it for a long time is hand washing with a neutral detergent.

Q3: Will baguette baking pans fit ovens of different brands?

A: Standard sizes fit most commercial ovens; special sizes you can get by contacting the factory to make sure that it fits perfectly and the heating is even.

Q4: Is it still possible to use a baguette baking pan if the coating is peeling off?

A: Slight peeling of the coating is a small problem and will not lead to the non-functioning of the baking pan. But while doing so, sticking of the dough to the pan may occur, which will not only result in more cleaning but also spoiling of the final product, so it is up to you! If the peeling areas are quite big, the product is to be replaced to avoid the metal material coming directly into contact with the dough, something which in turn could affect food safety and baking ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌results.
